The Wash Place is a family-owned car wash in Rotorua, keeping cars clean since 2016. Our Te Ngae Road site has served the local community for over 20 years, and we’re proud to continue running it today. In 2025, we opened a second location on Old Taupo Road to better serve customers across Rotorua.

We’re proud to support Rotorua locals and visitors with easy, reliable wash options — our goal is to make car washing easy, affordable, and hassle-free.

Open when you need us

Life in Rotorua doesn’t run nine to five, and neither do we. Whether you’re finishing a late shift, heading home from an adventure, or fitting in a quick wash, we’re open 24/7. Turn up when it suits you and get on with your day. 

Two sites, more ways to get clean

With locations in East and West Rotorua, we’ve got you covered. Te Ngae Road in Lynmore offers self-service wash bays and a laundromat, while Old Taupo Road in West Rotorua offers automatic washes, a dog wash, and an air dryer. Between both sites, we can handle most cleaning needs.
